I’ve always like working with wood. Whether I am building a custom stable for a Nativity scene or designing a dresser for a customer. I find woodworking to be relaxing.
As a Financial/Business Consultant I work a lot with my head and I find a level of satisfaction helping people succeed. But there is something different when I work with wood. I can take a plain piece of wood and make it into something beautiful, or I can take a dream and make it a reality.
I started The Wooden Box Company to allow me the ability to use a skill that is quickly dying, the skill of working with wood. Not to mention that it gives me the opportunity and privilege of teaching my children how to work with wood, thus passing on a skill that will help them as they get older.
